With 28 corporations, United States leads the Park Headquarters Multinational Corporations (SEM) in Panama, comprising 114 giant, he reported yesterday the Panamanian Minister of Commerce and Industry, Meliton Arrocha.

The rest is distributed among corporations in other 16 countries or territories, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Belarus, Canada, Colombia, Finland, Gibraltar, Guatemala, Honduras, British Virgin Islands, Mexico, Peru, Panama, UK and Singapore.

Incentives
The SEM is engaged, from Panama, to meet its business in Latin America or its parent, so enjoy an advantageous tax exemptions regime.

The American Business Group Intcomex, Inc., is the last license approved this week by the SEM Committee, meeting in the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MITI) said Meliton Arrocha.

«Latin America is growing steadily and companies in other continents like Europe and Asia, seeking to expand its products and services to countries in the region,» he said.
