Minister of Trade and Industry, Meliton Arrocha, travels to the city of Atlanta, Georgia, in order to participate in the “Doing Business in Atlanta” event organized jointly by the American Chamber of Commerce of Panama (AMCHAM) and main chambers of the city.
“During this official mission intend to promote the country as an investment destination in sectors such as energy, logistics and financial services where we believe there is good potential that may be interested investors,” said the head of the ICIM.
Arrocha speaker at the forum on business and investment opportunities, to present the prospects for economic growth and public investment projects developed by the government, in order to attract foreign investment. The event involved more than 80 entrepreneurs, including business leaders, investors and representatives of global companies.
Referring to the meeting, the head of Commerce said: “This meeting gives optimum and effective use of the Trade Promotion Agreement with the United States and strengthen trade and business with entrepreneurs from the city of Atlanta, Georgia ties”.
The city of Atlanta is a major logistics center worldwide and also one of the most important economies of the United States has numerous global companies and is considered one of the best cities in the world to do business.
