The National Customs Authority in Panama (Autoridad Nacional de Aduanas) is taking a big step forward in implementing its technology platform, in order to provide a better service to the user for their payments of “Customs Declaration” using online banking of the National Bank of Panama.
The idea with this new service is that payments are made online using different platforms and electronic terminals, thus the service is faster and can be paid at any time 24/7.
Because of technological advances that are taking place globally, it is a priority to use the tools that are at the forefront to facilitate domestic and international trade and to make possible the handling from anywhere in the world.
For the near future it is planned to implement the platform to other banks, making it easier for users to manage their accounts and customs transactions.
